i've got pollen on my knees,

this zinnia did lure me in to see,
the softest pinks and yellows that could be,
her cup of light, adrift on a green sea,
without a single butterfly or bee ...

i watched these two work side by side awhile,
like two old friends, indeed they made me smile,
so mesmerizing, with their graceful style,
magical moment for my flickr file ...

whilst crouched in the grass, amongst the flowers,
admiring the garden, on a fine day,
a wee whir of wings, like fairy showers,
tickled the air, in a hummingbird way ...

tomäto is another way to play,
and in the garden i would like to stay,
and leave those four-walled rooms so far away ...

now tio called a t.k.o. so fast,
while my bees were just warming to the task,
this little drunken bee would like to say,
"tio, my bro, let's meet another day!"

ps: this bee was a wee bit on the slow side from sipping a bit too much nectar but ... i did see him get up and go home so ... no bees were hurt in the telling of this tale ... and here i was just starting to shoot bees 'tio style' ...
